Al-Istibsar

Al-Istibsār (Arabic: الاستبصار فيما اختلف من الأخبار) is one of the Four Major Books of Twelver Shi'a Hadith literature. Compiled by Shaykh al-Ṭāʾifah Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥasan al-Ṭūsī, this renowned collection focuses on narrations concerning jurisprudence and legal rulings while addressing apparently conflicting traditions. It is considered a concise companion to Tahdhīb al-Aḥkām and remains among the most authoritative hadith compilations within Imamiyyah scholarship.
