وباسناده عن حماد بن عمرو وأنس بن محمد عن أبيه جميعا عن جعفر بن محمد عن آبائه في وصية النبي صلى الله عليه وآله لعلى عليه السلام قال: يا علي اثنتا عشرة خصلة ينبغي للرجل المسلم ان يتعلمها على المائدة أربع منها: فريضة وأربع منها سنة وأربع منها أدب فاما الفريضة فالمعرفة بما (1) يأكل والتسمية والشكر والرضا واما السنة فالجلوس على الرجل اليسرى والاكل بثلاث أصابع وان يأكل مما يليه ومص الأصابع واما الأدب فتصغير اللقمة والمضغ الشديد وقلة النظر في وجوه الناس وغسل اليدين.

In the will of the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family) to Ali (peace be upon him), he said: "O Ali, there are twelve qualities that a Muslim man should learn at the dining table: four of them are obligations, four are Sunnah, and four are etiquettes." As for the obligations, they are: knowing what one eats, saying Bismillah (mentioning Allah's name), expressing gratitude, and being content. As for the Sunnah, they are: sitting on the left leg, eating with three fingers, eating from what is in front of him, and licking the fingers after eating. As for the etiquettes, they are: taking small bites, chewing well, avoiding excessive staring at people's faces, and washing the hands before and after eating.

عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ (a.s) عَنْ آبَائِهِ (عَلَيْهِم السَّلام) قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ نِعْمَ الْعَوْنُ عَلَى تَقْوَى اللهِ الْغِنَى.

‘The best helper of piety is (financial) self-sufficiency.’”

عن النبي (صلى الله عليه وآله) أنه قال:إن الشديد ليس من غلب الناس، ولكن الشديد من غلب نفسه

The Prophet (pbuh) said: "The strong one is not the one who overcomes people, but the strong one is the one who overcomes himself."

قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله: رحم الله من قال خيرا فغنم، أو سكت على سوء فسلم.

Prophet(pbuh) says: May Allah have mercy on one who speaks good and gains reward, or remains silent about evil and stays safe.

محمد بن علي بن الحسين بن بابويه قال: من ألفاظ رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله): الدال على الخير كفاعله.

رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله) يقول: إذا أُمّتي تواكلت الامر بالمعروف والنهي عن المنكر فليأذنوا بوقاع من الله.

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family) used to say: When my nation abandons enjoining good and forbidding evil, let them expect a punishment from Allah.

The prophet(pbuh) says:Blessed are those whose earnings are acceptable, inner and outer selves are sound, and morals are straight
