Crying Over Hussain(as)
NARRATION 1
قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع) فِي حَدِيثٍ طَوِيلٍ لَهُ وَ مَنْ ذُكِرَ الْحُسَيْنُ (ع) عِنْدَهُ فَخَرَجَ مِنْ عَيْنِهِ [عَيْنَيْهِ] مِنَ الدُّمُوعِ مِقْدَارُ جَنَاحِ ذُبَابٍ كَانَ ثَوَابُهُ عَلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ وَ لَمْ يَرْضَ لَهُ بِدُونِ الْجَنَّةِ
Imam Jafar(as) says:
Whoever mentions Husayn (peace be upon him) in front of someone, and tears come out of his eye — even if it is the size of a fly’s wing — his reward is upon Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, and He will not be pleased for him with anything less than Paradise.

NARRATION 2
عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ (ع)
قَالَ سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ إِنَّ الْبُكَاءَ وَ الْجَزَعَ مَكْرُوهٌ لِلْعَبْدِ فِي كُلِّ مَا جَزِعَ- مَا خَلَا الْبُكَاءَ وَ الْجَزَعَ عَلَى الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ (ع) فَإِنَّهُ فِيهِ مَأْجُورٌ
Imam Jafar as-Sadeq(as) says:
Crying and jaza’ is disliked for the slaves (of Allāh) over any matter except crying and jaza’ over Ḥusain ibn ‘Ali (a.s). Verily the one who cries and acts impatiently over Ḥusain (a.s) will be rewarded.
