I asked Abū Jaʿfar al-Thānī (Muḥammad ibn ʿAlī al-Jawād) (peace be upon him):
“What is the meaning of al-Wāḥid?”

Imam replied:
“That concerning which all tongues are united in affirming His oneness (al-waḥdāniyyah).”

More narrations will be added soon, InshaAllah.
