The Virtue of Loving and Following Imam ‘Ali (ع) and His Descendants
حدثنا حمزه بن محمد بن أحمد بن جعفر بن محمد بن زيد بن علي بن الحسين بن علي بن أبي طالب عليهم السلام بقم في رجب سنه تسع وثلاثين وثلاث مأة قال: أخبرنا علي بن إبراهيم بن هاشم سنه سبع وثلاثمأة عن أبيه عن علي بن معبد عن الحسين بن خالد عن أبي الحسن علي بن موسى الرضا عليه السلام عن أبيه عن آبائه عن علي عليهم السلام قال: قال رسول الله (ص): من أحب ان يركب سفينة النجاة ويستمسك بالعروة الوثقى ويعتصم بحبل الله المتين فليوال عليا بعدى وليعاد عدوه وليأتم بالأئمة الهداة من ولده فإنهم خلفائي وأوصيائي وحجج الله على الخلق بعدى وساده أمتي وقاده الأتقياء إلى الجنة حزبهم حزبي وحزبي حزب الله عز وجل وحزب أعدائهم حزب الشيطان.
The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family) said:
Whoever wishes to embark upon the Ship of Salvation, and hold firmly to the Firm Handle, and cling to the Strong Rope of Allah, then let him love ‘Ali after me, and show enmity toward his enemies, and follow the rightly guided Imams from his offspring, for indeed they are my successors, my trustees, and the proofs of Allah over His creation after me.
They are the masters of my nation and the leaders of the pious towards Paradise.
Their group is my group, and my group is the group of Allah, the Mighty and Glorious, and the group of their enemies is the group of Satan.
