عن رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله) قال في آخر خطبة له: ومن كظم غيظه وعفى عن أخيه المسلم أعطاه الله أجر شهيد
From the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family), in his last sermon, he said: "Whoever suppresses his anger and forgives his Muslim brother, Allah will grant him the reward of a martyr."

عن النبي (صلى الله عليه وآله) أنه قال: يا علي أوصيك بوصية فاحفظها فلا تزال بخير ما حفظت وصيتي يا علي من كظم غيظا وهو يقدر على إمضائه اعقبه الله امنا وإيمانا يجد طعمه الحديث...
From the Prophet (peace be upon him and his family), he said: "O Ali, I advise you with a piece of advice — so preserve it, for you will remain in goodness as long as you preserve my advice. O Ali, whoever suppresses anger while being able to act upon it, Allah will grant him safety and faith, the taste of which he will find..."

من ألفاظ رسول الله (صلى الله عليه وآله): من يكظم الغيظ يأجره الله، ومن يصبر على الرزية يعوضه الله.
From the words of the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him and his family): "Whoever suppresses anger, Allah will reward him; and whoever is patient in the face of calamity, Allah will compensate him."

أبا عبد الله (عليه السلام) يقول: من كظم غيظا ولو شاء أن يمضيه أمضاه ملا الله قلبه يوم القيامة رضاه.
Imam Jafar(as) said: "Whoever suppresses their anger while being capable of acting upon it, Allah will fill their heart with His pleasure on the Day of Judgment."
