Allama Majlisi(ra) in Bihar al Anwar, V44, P292-293 says:
I saw in some writings of certain trustworthy contemporary scholars that it has been narrated:
When the Prophet ﷺ informed his daughter Fatimah (peace be upon her) about the killing of her son al-Husayn and the calamities that would befall him, Fatimah wept intensely and said:
“O Father! When will that happen?”
He replied:
“In a time when I, you, and ‘Ali will no longer be present.”
Her weeping intensified, and she said:
“O Father! Then who will weep for him? Who will undertake the responsibility of mourning for him?”
The Prophet ﷺ said:
“O Fatimah, the women of my nation will weep for the women of my household, and the men of my nation will weep for the men of my household. They will revive the mourning generation after generation, every year.
And when the Day of Judgment comes, you will intercede for the women, and I will intercede for the men. And everyone who wept over the tragedy of al-Husayn — we will take them by the hand and admit them into Paradise.
O Fatimah! Every eye shall weep on the Day of Judgment, except for the eye that wept over the calamity of al-Husayn — it shall be joyful and radiant with the bliss of Paradise.”
