Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah, Vol. 21, pg. 523, Report # 40661:
Al-Fadl b. Dukayn narrated to us, he said: Musa b. Qays narrated to us, he said: I heard Hujr b. 'Anbas say: It was said to 'Ali on the day of Siffin, “The water has been cut off from us.” He said: “Send for al-Ash'ath.” So he came, and he said: “Bring me the armor of Ibn Sahr—a man from Banu Bara'.” So he put it [the armor] over him, then he went and fought them until he drove them away from the water.

Amr b. al-As private part💀
al-Isti'ab by Ibn Abd al-Barr, pg. 91:
Busr b. Artaa was one of the tyrannical warriors and was with Muawiya at Siffin. Muawiya ordered him to confront Ali AS in battle, saying to him, "I have heard you wish to face him. If God grants you victory over him and you strike him down, you will attain both worldly and eternal success." He continued to encourage and entice him until Busr saw Ali AS and charged at him in battle. They met, and Ali AS struck him down. Then, what had previously happened with Amr b. al-As occurred again.
Ibn al-Kalbi, in his book on the events of Siffin, mentioned that Busr b. Artaa dueled Ali AS on the day of Siffin. Ali AS thrust his spear at him, knocked him down, and his private parts were exposed. Ali AS refrained from killing him, just as had happened with Amr b. al-As.
There are poems about this incident recorded in that book, including what Ibn al-Kalbi and al-Madaini narrated from al-Harith b. al-Nasr al-Sahmi.
Ibn al-Kalbi said that al-Harith was an enemy of both Amr and Busr. He composed the following poem (Tawil meter):
"Every day, a warrior fails to persevere,
And in the midst of the dust, his private parts are laid bare.
Ali holds back his spear upon seeing them,
While Muawiya laughs at him in private.
Yesterday, Amr exposed himself and covered his head,
And today, Busr's disgrace mirrors his exactly.
So say to Amr and Busr: Take heed!
Do not face the lion (Ali) again.
Do not praise anything but your shame and your testicles,
For, by God, they alone saved your lives.
Had it not been for them, you would not have escaped his spear,
And this lesson should be enough to deter you.
Whenever you see the charging horses at dawn,
And among them Ali, then leave the battlefield.
Stay far away where the lances cannot reach,
For experience should be enough to teach you!"
