وإن كان أتباع هؤلاء زادوا على ما شرعه ساداتهم وكبراؤهم زيادات من الفواحش التي لا ترضاها القرود؛ فإنه قد ثبت في صحيح البخاري {أن أبا عمران رأى في الجاهلية قردا زنى بقردة فاجتمعت عليه القرود فرجمته} . ومثل ذلك قد شاهده الناس في زماننا في غير القرود حتى الطيور
And if the followers of these [people] have exceeded what their leaders and dignitaries have ordained of increases in indecencies that not even monkeys would accept; then it has been established in Sahih al-Bukhari that Abu 'Imran saw in the Jahiliyyah [pre-Islamic era] a monkey committing adultery with a female monkey, so the monkeys gathered and stoned it. And the like of that has been witnessed by people in our time with creatures other than monkeys, even birds
