أبو هريرة : كلوا الباذنجان فإنها شجرة رأيتها في جنة المأوى شهدت لله بالحق ولي بالنبوة ولعلي بالولاية فمن أكلها على أنها إذا كانت داء ومن أكلها على ألفها دواء كانت دواء
Abu Hurairah: "Eat eggplant, for it is a tree that I saw in the Garden of Abode. It bears witness to the truth of Allah, to my prophethood, and to Ali's guardianship. Whoever eats it as a cure when it is a disease, and as a medicine when it is not, will be blessed."
