Hadith Scan
Chapter: The Man Rapes the Woman in Her Private Parts
First Hadith:
سئل أبو جعفر عليه السلام عن رجل اغتصب امرأة فرجها، قال: يقتل محصنا كان أو غير محصن.
Abu Ja'far (peace be upon him) was asked about a man who raped a woman. He (the Imam) said: "He is to be killed, whether he is married or unmarried."
Second Hadith:
أبي جعفر عليه السلام في رجل غصب امرأة نفسها قال: قال: يضرب ضربة بالسيف بلغت منه ما بلغت.
Abu Ja'far (peace be upon him) was asked about a man who forced himself upon a woman. He (the Imam) said: "He is to be struck with a sword, however severe the strike may be."
Third Hadith:
عن زرارة، عن أحدهما عليهما السلام في رجل غصب امرأة نفسها قال: يقتل.
From Zurara, narrated from one of the Imams (peace be upon them):
Regarding a man who forced himself upon a woman, he (the Imam) said: "He is to be killed."
Fourth Hadith:
عن أبي بصير عن أبي عبد الله عليه السلام قال: إذا كابر الرجل المرأة على نفسها ضرب ضربة بالسيف مات منها أو عاش.
From Abu Basir, from Abu Abdullah (peace be upon him):
He (the Imam) said: "If a man overpowers a woman and forces himself upon her, he is to be struck with a sword, whether he dies from it or survives."
Fifth Hadith:
عن زرارة قال: قلت لأبي جعفر عليه السلام: الرجل يغصب المرأة نفسها؟ قال: يقتل.
From Zurara:
I asked Abu Ja'far (peace be upon him): "What is the ruling for a man who forces himself upon a woman?" He (the Imam) said: "He is to be killed."
