Hadith Scan

Abu Bakr Muhammad ibn al-Husayn narrated to us, who said: Abu al-Husayn ibn al-Muhtadi narrated to us, who said: Ali ibn Umar ibn Muhammad al-Harbi narrated to us, who said: Abu Habib al-Abbas ibn Muhammad ibn Ahmad ibn Muhammad al-Bari narrated to us, who said: Ismail ibn Musa, the grandson of al-Suddi, narrated to us, who said: Amr ibn Sa'id al-Basri narrated to us, from Fudayl ibn Marzuq, from Abu Sakheela, from Salman and Abu Dharr, who both said:

The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) took Ali's hand and said:
"Indeed, he is the first to believe in me, the first to shake my hand on the Day of Resurrection, the greatest truthful one (al-Siddiq al-Akbar), the distinguisher (al-Faruq) of this Ummah who separates truth from falsehood. He is the leader of the believers, while wealth is the chief concern of the oppressors."
