Hadith Scan
حَدَّثَنَا جَعْفَرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مَسْرُورٍ رَحِمَهُ اللَّهُ ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ ، عَنْ عَمِّهِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَامِرٍ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ ، عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ ، عَنِ الصَّادِقِ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَلَيْهِ السَّلام أَنَّهُ قَالَ : لا دِينَ لِمَنْ لا تَقِيَّةَ لَهُ وَلَا إِيمَانَ لِمَنْ لا وَرَعَ لَهُ
"Ja'far ibn Muhammad ibn Masrur (may Allah have mercy on him) reported: Al-Husayn ibn Muhammad ibn Amir narrated to us from his uncle Abdullah ibn Amir, from Muhammad ibn Abi Umayr, from Aban ibn Uthman, from Al-Sadiq Ja'far ibn Muhammad (peace be upon him) who said: 'There is no religion for one who does not have piety, and there is no faith for one who does not have scruples.'"
