Azdī also writes about the birth in the Ka‘bah in Tārīkh Mosul, Book XIII, Page 58 as follows:
"He (Imam Ali) was born in the Ka‘bah, and no other caliph, except Amīr al-Mu’minīn Ali ibn Abī Ṭālib (peace be upon him), was born inside the Ka‘bah."
